About
Hi, I’m Kathi. I love to create things — with words and wool — and who knows what’s to come. I take pleasure in “small” things: quiet moments, gentle sayings, small worlds, cozy corners, creatures of all kinds, fantastical stories, and the extraordinary in the everyday. At the root of it all is my love for God, which I hope comes through in everything I create.
I’ve written a book called A Little Book of Poetry: For When Night Seems Dark, a collection of poems offering comfort, hope, and encouragement. It’s for anyone who needs a reminder of God’s presence and is seeking hope in the midst of life’s challenges.
My poetry has also appeared in Poems Inspired by Robert Frost and Flee to Spring — both Wingless Dreamer publications. My flash fiction has been published by Haunted Waters Press.
I enjoy using words to touch the heart, stir the imagination, and kindle joy. I love writing about small places and true-to-life characters, and if something I write makes someone feel joy or less alone, I’m thankful.
I’ve been a follower of Jesus and a student of the Bible for many years. Knowing Him has brought light into my life, and out of that, I hope something I create offers a moment of beauty in your day.
Thank you for being here. In my shop, you’ll find a collection of small creations — poetry, prints, and felted pieces — with more to come over time. A few of my felted mice have found their way to Pepin’s Rusty Peddler, a small shop in Wisconsin. If you keep a shop and feel they might belong there too, I’d love to hear from you.
